First, before we can record Google voice, we need to set audio input setting as I wrote here. After that, we can record any sound that comes from the audio output of the system such as sound from the browser (Google voice, Youtube, etc), media player (Parole, VLC, etc) and so on.
If we want to record without the need to add advanced effects, (change the pitch, equalize, etc.), we can use a simple recorder like Gnome Sound Recorder.
But if we plan to do sound editing, it's better to record directly from Audacity because there we can directly do the editing so it saves more time.
To start recording, first, press the record button (in Gnome Audio Recorder or Audacity). Then play the audio source that you want ( Google voice, Youtube, multimedia player, online game, etc).
