Adding some new themes and icon sets in Manjaro Xfce, I think it is necessary to do. Because the default theme feels a bit boring.
First, open Thunar as root.
Then select usr folder > share > themes (to add a theme), or
select usr folder > share > icons (to add icon set).
Paste the new theme or icon set into the associated folder. Make sure you have extracted the theme file or icon set correctly before paste it. For example, you have to paste the light and dark version of the theme individually, don't paste it while it's still in 1 folder containing 2 folders (light and dark).
Then do testing by changing them from the Appearance menu.
