Actually this is just a trivial thing. But it may be necessary sometimes. And if you don't know how, I find it quite annoying. 

If you do it with the default settings, what you get is the noise from the microphone of your own laptop/computer. So, how to record sound from audio system output in Manjaro?

Click the audio icon in the panel > Audio mixer :

 



The volume control window will appear. Select the Input Devices tab, then select Monitor of Built-in Audio Analog Stereo as a fallback (click the checkmark):

Then the recording source will change to your computer's audio output system. This means if you play a song with the player or stream a video in a browser, that's the sound that will be recorded if you do voice recording.

Well, if you want to record from another source (eg microphone), you just change the check mark to microphone.
