[ TUTORIAL ] How to record screen in Manjaro XFCE?

If you're a content creator who makes computer-related tutorials, of course you need a pretty good desktop screen recording tool. To do screen recording in Manjaro, I recommend you to use SimpleScreenRecorder. I think this tool is very good. Although I don't like the logo and default icon.

First, install it from appcenter.

Then, you do the video and audio settings as you wish.

Then, set the shortcuts to make recording easier. I recommend using CTRL + R instead.

Minimize the main window, don't close it. To start recording, press CTRL + R. To end press CTRL + R again. To save, right-click on the simplescreenrecorder icon in the panel, then click on save recording :

This setting will be saved. So every time you want to start recording, you just have to open the simplescreenrecorder, minimize the main window, then run the CTRL+R shortcut as above.

You can also include your webcam in the recording:

I think this method is good enough if you want to make a video tutorial or something like that.
